Hello,

I used the BB Curve 8520 for about a year and decided to buy myself the new Bold 9780 today.

However, i dont really feel like transferring my entire agenda and my entire phone list. Is there any easy way to do this?

And i will be in the US from next week, is it possible to get a pre-paid number for blackberrys?

Regards

Sorry but i have one more question, whats the best way to restore the phone to its factory settings? I got the phone 50 bucks cheaper cause somebody has used it for one afternoon and then returned it, however, he had already sychronised all his photos and phone book into the phone

1. Sync your old BB to Outlook or Google and sync the new one to the same. That will transfer contacts and calendar. Or use the Switch device wizard in Desktop Manager.

2. I do not personally know of a pay-as-you-go BB plan especially if you also want data. If the device is unlocked, you could get any voice pay-as-you-go SIM as there are several out there.

To return to factory settings / or to remove the old data, do a security wipe. BlackBerry 6 Security: How to Wipe Your RIM Smartphone, Restore Factory Settings CIO.com

Alright, thanks heaps!

I have one more question, is it possible to also add my text messages to the 'messages' tab where my ping messages and emails are?
