Hi, I am using the BB 8820, which has developed a fault. I noticed a couple of times whilst it was charging that connection had been lost, Lightening sign had dissapeared, and it would come bach again. If I moved the mini usb plug that was plugged into BB, it flashes on and off, suggesting perhaps that the connection inside BB is faulty!!! Any help would be appreciated. Ken.
I should have stated that I gave tried charging from Mains, Car and USB, fault the same and tried new battery.

Sounds like the USB port is bad. Is the device recognized by and connects to DM when you plug it into your PC?

Given the age of the device, it might be better just to replace it rather than try to fix it. Plus you can't be 100% certain that it isn't something else.
