Default Keyboard

Hai!

I need help with my curve 8520 keyboard.
It's not working since 2 days. I could only use the trackbal to scroll.
I tried to nuke it, after that went wrong, the bb turned off, i got a white screen
with a error 507 (software). I nuked it again and now after its been nuked my keyboard is still not working.
Like before the only thing that works is the trackball to scroll.

Help..

You didn't even wait twenty minutes before you impatiently bumped your thread. That's very rude forum etiquette. No one is sitting around just waiting to answer your questions. Please be patient.

Sounds like moisture damage. Has the device been exposed to any moisture? Even a little tiny bit?

The keyboard can be very sensitive to moisture. It doesn't take much to cause damage.

It doesn't need to get "all wet" for the damage to be done as evidenced by your OP.

It was suggested the BB may have been exposed to moisture. You said you were using it and it was raining. Motorcycle Mama told you even a little will cause this issue. Donít you realize your use exposed it to moisture? You can try putting it in a bag of new rice for a few days and possibly it will dry out if youíre extremely lucky. If not replacement may be necessary and you have learned a valuable lesson..maybe
