Default BB wrong phone number

I have a sprint blackberry 9650. It displays an invalid phone number. I'd like to replace this number by my real phone number. I tried this code ##000000 it doesn't work, it says invalid msl. I would like to know how to proceed

Your SIM is either defective or wrong. you cannot change the display. the SIM controls it.

Is it your phone? have sprint send you a new one.

##000000 doesn't work on Sprint.

If you are on Sprint, you need to get them to program it.

If you are on a GSM carrier, then you just have to deal with it the way that it is.

I'm amazed at the number of people who want to hide their number on the phone. It seems like people are either lending the BB to people they do not know or leaving it unattended. No clue.

With all the duplicate posts the OP made apparently he did not like the answer.
