Default HELP! reloading software!

Please Login to Remove!

I have a old t-mobl curve 8520 that's burnt! I need the software reloaded on it! I really don't know to much about dwnlding and updating software. Is there a shop or somewhere u can get bberrys repaired/updated? I also want to update my Bold9650 to OS6! If anyone in RI can help me w/ both the curve is yours(hand on help if poss)???????????

First, reloading and updating the operating system is not a big deal. You can do it if you have access to a computer, can download the necessary software, and if you are halfway competent with a computer. If you would just rather not deal with it, that's a different story. Just know it isn't that complicated or difficult.

But....Are you sure you need to reload the software? What is "burnt"? If you are going to pay someone to "fix" the unit, you should have some idea whether it's really "broke".

I guess its called nuked? It has a white screen and says "reload software" w/ a code. I tried to do it on a comp, I had a prob w/ the instructions! I might give it a go again if u say its that easy! I just need the instructions in middle school form lol!

Find the latest OS thread for your model(s). For the 8520, see

or

OS: 8520 4.6.1.470/4.6.1.318 (Multilanguage) for 4.6.

The directions are simple, in a straightforward plain language sort of way.

To play it safe, you may want to go ahead and wipe with JL_CMDER. It may not be necessary, but but it isn't going to hurt. See
