Default Help with blackberry storm 2 configuration

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. I just got hold of a verizon Storm 2 and had it unlocked here in the Philippines. The problem comes in the wireless network. If my unit displays 3G on its signal everything seems to be working fine, calls, and sms. If my signal turns to EDGE, GPRS, or GSM then I cannot make or recieve calls likwise with sms. If I try to send sms, it displays an error. Mobile equipment failure. Can anyone please help.

I'm assuming that you have a local valid SIM card from your provider. If you do, you will have to verify that your phone is actually unlocked.
