Default Caendar Sync issue with different Time zones

Please Login to Remove!

Iím having a problem with my 8520 when I sync it with my calendar, on all items setup with the right time zone it works fine (+4 Abu Dhabi) but when I have a different time zone (-7 Mountain Time) it just adds the event to the date as if its Abu Dhabi time and I have to change the time and date manually to get it to correct.
This is obviously not a solution as every time I sync it goes back to the wrong date again
Example
In outlook calendar entry is on Tuesday at 8am (+4 Abu Dhabi Time)
The actual event time for it is set to Wednesday 9pm (-7 Mountain Time)
On the device it shows the time as 8am but on Wednesday, so does not take into consideration the 11 hour difference.
I tried changing the device to a 12 hour clock as that was the same as Outlook but no joy
ANY IDEAS, PLEASE HELP

Back up to beginning and define your terms better.

What do you mean by "have a different time zone"? Are you talking about the time zone setting of the device? Or are you talking about the time zone setting in calendar to set the calendar event using the time in the set time zone which is different from your local time zone? You need to be clear. And you may need to explain step by step what you are doing.

One obvious question is whether the computer, Outlook, and the BlackBerry are all set to the same time and time zone. If not, that will mess things up. Maybe that's your problem, or maybe not.

Hi aiharkness

My Timezone on the Blackberry and Outlook are Abu Dhabi +4
When the meeting request is accepted in Outlook it has come from someone using Mountain Time -7
When i accept it in Outlook it goes to the correct time and date.
when i Sync the BB and Outlook the Time in the BB is correct but its one day before it should be.
Example
I receive a meeting appointment for:
Sunday 23rd from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM (GMT-07:00) Mountain Time (US & Canada)
I accept the Meeting and in Outlook it goes to:
Monday 24th 7:30 AM-8:00 AM (GMT+04:00) Abu Dhabi, Muscat
When I Sync the BB with Outlook the appointment goes to:
Sunday 23rd 7:30 AM-8:00 AM (GMT+04:00) Abu Dhabi, Muscat
