Angry Searching For Network - Ffs

Please Login to Remove!

Hello...

i have recently bought the BLACKBERRY BOLD 9780 PAY AS YOU GO. mY CARRIER IS T-MOBILE...

Every time i want to use my fone or send an e-mail or something, it keeps saying at the top where the carriers name is meant to show "searching for network" with a few dots... then sometimes the signal goes to SOS in RED... it has been doing this CONSTANTLY for about 2-4 days now...

How do I fix this?

Regards.

Did you buy it from T-Mobile? it sounds like you either do not have a working SIM or the phone is defective. I would return it but call the carrier first and make sure the account is provisioned and has a blackberry data plan. Without one all you will have is a phone for calls.

You might also have either a bad SIM card (not common, but it does happen) or the BlackBerry just doesn't like the SIM card you're using. You can go to a T-Mobile store and they'll give you a new SIM card, probably for free. T-Mobile did it for me, free, in about 5 minutes when I had a similar problem. The new SIM card solved everything.
