pearl 8110 shuts off and reloads during calls

Exclamation pearl 8110 shuts off and reloads during calls

Hi

I bought a blackberry pearl 8110 from ebay, everything looks new but the phone shuts of during calls. It had version 4.2 software, I updated the software to V 4.5 but the problem doesn't seem to have been solved, please help, I don't wanna send it back to the seller, it will take time and will cost more money as I'm in South Africa and the seller is in the US

Did it happen with OS 4.2 when you got it? How often does it reboot?

Could be any number of things. Best way to solve is send it back and get your money back. That is one of the pitfalls of buying from eBay.

As I've mentioned above sending it back is not an option for me, someone suggested changing a battery I'm gonna try that

You won't send it back because it will cost money but you will buy a new battery?

If you buy a new battery don't buy a cheap off-brand. Make sure it is an OEM BlackBerry.

Why do you think a battery replacement will solve it? Is the battery indicator low?

Bought the battery reloaded the software, the problem still not solved
