Hello. I am having some problems with my BB Bold 9700 Smartphone. The first problem started when I decided to charge my phone via USB/my computer (windows 7). Having forgotten that my phone was plugged in to my computer, I closed the lid and went to sleep. The next day I unplugged my phone and to my surprise it was completely dead. So I removed the battery and re-booted my phone. All was well until I tried to access the BB hard drive via USB/my computer, to load some music. The computer responded to the connection with a beep/noise, but that was all. The BB was not being recognized, so I gave up and ignored the problem, as I could still make phone calls and get on with my day.
Yesterday, another more severe problem occurred. I opened my phone only to find “JVM Error 102 Reset”. I read online that I should install BB desktop software to update my device. So I have installed the software and in order to proceed, a message is posted stating that my BB must be connected to the computer. So I have connected my BB to the computer via USB and the message does not go away rendering me unable to access the desktop manager.
Any help regarding these matters would be greatly appreciated!
