| Re: play media files It sound like the device your plugging into the BB is causing it to think you want to activate voice dialing. Some headsets are capable of doing this. I attached a sample of a BB documentation indicating this issue. I'm not sure there's much you can do about this.

If you use a headset, you can use a headset button to answer or end a call, or to turn on or turn off mute during a call. Depending on your device
model, you might be able to use a headset button to make a call using a voice command.
