Default only rebooting half way help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi
I have a BB 9700, it switches itself off and turns on but only reboots half way before switching itself off again....

Ive taken the battery out numerous times but to no avail.
Any advice would be much appreciated....

Did this start after you installed a new app or theme? Or did you drop the device, or get it wet, or expose it to moisture? It does not take much moisture--just a sweaty pocket or foggy shower room has caused issues,

hi thanks for the reply, nope havent dropped it or taken it into the shower... and its too cold here (london) to have a sweaty pockets lol....
the only thing recently that i had to do is merge my carrier (orange) with T Mobile to get a better signal as the signal for Orange alone was non existant.... the lady in the shop just recoded the phone, but it was working fine, that was over a week ago....it only gets halfway across the bar and the screen flashes before turning itself off again... so frustrating

If you are using a microSD media card, remove it and see if the BlackBerry will boot up. If not, see KB17877-How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode. If you can boot in safe mode, then do a full backup.

Then, see Is your BlackBerry Nuked? - BlackBerryFAQ.
