I was wiping and updating OS after having a "App Error 523
Reset" on a brand new BB Tour 9630. Unfortunately I left the cellphone there while taking a little water and my young brother disconnected the USB cable while the Desktop Manager was in the middle of the process ( I remember something about accessing the boot sector was on the screen). Now the BB is no longer recognized, don't initialize, don't load any screen, just keep the red light blinking. I guess I messed with the boot sector, and I purchased it overseas so I have no support.

Is there any solution to this or I definitely killed my brand new BlackBerry ?

Seems like my USB cable is bad. I restarted the computer and did the cable connection again and tried again a couple of times the conventional way with the device manager and at some point it finally worked ! What a relief! Thanx for the help anyway !
