The only thing that functions is the phone. When I hit the 7 dotted Apps button, the screen says "Applications", but nothing else shows up but five blank bars along the left edge of the screen. Starting last month, and up until a week ago, whenever I hit the Apps button, the word "alarm" appeared. Now, not always, it says "error" 523. I've tried the resetting methods that have been posted, including, taking out the battery for 30 seconds. Any suggestions? I don't know the model; my wife "handed it down" to me 4 months ago, and I had it flashed. Everything was working then, until about a month ago.

If a battery pull doesn't work, then you might need to reload the OS.
