Default e-mail options no longer available

Please Login to Remove!

I got the wonderful "do-not reply" message telling me that I can no longer receive emails from one of my accounts. I figured it was because I changed the password of the account.

I went into the e-mail options and wanted to update the account, but got a message saying I had to update either the account management software or the g-mail plug in (sorry I don't remember which). I went started to do the update (downloading from RIM) and it failed.

Now, my device is still receiving e-mail, but I can't get in to my e-mail options. If I go to setup and click on e-mail, I get the display showing intern and enterprise messages, but that's far as I can go. From within the message screen, when I hit "options," I get nothing.

I've searched, but cant find an answer, so I'm hoping someone can help.

You need to check with your IT department and see if they blocked your non corporate emails or access to some options which they can do

I am having exactly the same problem!

Using a Bold 9780 and when I went into the email set up application I was told I needed to upgrade the application. However, it failed half way through and now I can't access 'Options' in Messages or the internet messages in the email setup application, just as you say.

Seems to be a problem with the update. Have tried to search for the update to try the download again, but have found nothing so far!

Any help would be appreciated.

Just sorted the problem. Tried reloading the operating system but had the same issue. However, Desktop Manager said there was an update available and when I installed the update, the problem was solved. Can now access message options.
