| help with new 8520 Please Login to Remove! Hi all. Got a few probs with my new BB. I acquired it because i did have a Galaxy S but broke that yesterday so have this for the moment. Think i might keep it if i can get it running properly because i really wasnt impressed with the Galaxy.
First off, i tried to download BB App World, but it isnt anywhere to be found. Thought it should have been in downloads but its not, but it is listed under applications in the options menu.
Secondly, i cant set up my email on it, when i try, it just comes up with a box saying 'your device had a problem connecting to te server'
And thirdly, i downloaded facebook for it through the internet, but it comes up with a box saying 'you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. If you want to use this application, please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan', any help anyone can give me?
Im guessing the prob is down to the fact that my sim is on a service plan for the Galaxy S. Just wondered if anyone has any ideas on how to get round any of this?

PS just realised i need to have 'blackberry data plan', if i phone and ask for this, will they be able to put it on even though im supposed to have a Galaxy S?? |
