Hi there. New to this! I noticed a yellow bbm icon/notifaction at the top of my screen. gone into bbm and appworld looking for updates..... nothing.! i have looked in ALL my message folders,,,,Nothing!. need help ! even done battery pull. i have a bold 9700 x

Receive notification when a contact becomes available
Each time that you set BlackBerry® Messenger to notify you when a contact becomes available, you receive a notification.
1. On the Home screen or in the Instant Messaging folder, click the BlackBerry Messenger icon.
2. On the contact list screen, in a contact category, highlight a contact whose status is set to Busy.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Set Contact Alert.
5. Click OK.
To turn off the notification, press the Menu key. Click Clear Contact Alert.

That looks like an SMS notification not a BBM notification.
