Default HOW TO Use Blackberry in India WITHOUT Blackberry Service

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Can someone please let me know whether we can use in Blackberry in India WITHOUT the Blackberry Service ?

That is - on normal GPRS/EDGE Internet Connection ?

Obviously - I am not looking at using Push-EMails or the BBM. Just using the normal phone features and browse the internet.

Thanks,
Bodhi

How to use BlackBerry on Generic Data Plan - BlackBerryFAQ

You won't be able to use the web browser without a BlackBerry data plan. Perhaps a browser like Opera Mini would work, but not the built-in browser. Most carriers won't evel let you use the WiFi (Hotspot) browser without having a BlackBerry data plan on your account.
