Question Recognize contact when dialing 10-digit number?

Please Login to Remove!

I seem to recall a few years ago (around BB OS v4) that when I started to dial a phone number, that the Blackberry would suggest people in my contacts whose phone number started with those digits. Nowadays it only shows people whose names match the corresponding letters. I don't remember if it stopped doing this when I upgraded the OS a while back, or if it had to do with the introduction of 10-digit dialing in my area.

Am I right that it used to do this? Is it still supposed to but I'm doing something wrong?

Thanks.
