Try this: Plug the BlackBerry in with the wall charger. Leave it for an hour or two. Then, with the BlackBerry still plugged in, remove the battery and then replace it. See if the BlackBerry boots.
If the BlackBerry does not boot, the next step will be to try a new battery, or at least try a borrowed battery that is known to be serviceable.
Also, make sure the battery fits tight in the battery compartment, and that contacts are clean and not corroded.
