Default Blackberry error JVM Error 513 now Error: 507

Please Login to Remove!

My Blackberry is a Blackberry Curve 8310. The silver one.

This is long and complicated so please read it before posting a reply.

It all started when a guy I know typed my password wrong into my Blackberry 10 times and caused it to begin the wipe. When I got hold of the Blackberry I pulled the battery out thinking that it would cancel the wipe and everything would be fine. I was wrong.

Upon re-booting the Blackberry I was greated with a white page and an error called JVM Error 513. Naturally I went and googled for a solution and I found one leading to a link:

How to wipe the Blackberry using JL Cmder

I followed this and wiped it. Which is a good thing I guess. Now I have the 507 error. Upon connecting the Blackberry to my Computer I recieve:

"Blackberry Desktop Software cannot communicate with the connected device."

So I followed these instructions:

1. The Application Loader Wizard window will open

2. Click on Next

3. You will get a drop down list with the COM ports and one USB port entry

4. Select the one which says USB:UNKNOWN

* If you do not see USB:UNKNOWN or USB:BBPIN, then follow instructions listed in a1-a5:

a1) Disconnect the device from the PC.

a2) Keep the Application Loader Wizard window open

a3) Remove the battery and put it back

a4) While the red led is on, reconnect the device to the PC. The led will only stay on for a few seconds

a5) When USB:UNKNOWN appears in the drop down list, you need to immediately select Next

5. The loader should now connect to your device and you will be able to reinstall the OS
When I needed to install the OS back on. For some reason it can see my Blackberry as USB:{And my blackberry Pin here} dispite following the instructions to remove the battery etc...

Please help me :(

Trouble shoot your connection to the computer. Make sure you are using a USB connection on the computer, and not a hub, keyboard or monitor, etc. If you have another USB cable, try that. Make sure the computer isn't shutting down the USB port for power saving.

Other than that, the procedure you are following can be tricky. You might have to repeat it several times to get the timing right.
