Default Problems Installing Applications

Please Login to Remove!

I recently bought a Blackberry Bold 9780 and brought it to Zimbabwe where there is no blackberry internet service yet and no authorized blackberry repair dealer.

I am facing the following problem(s):

1- I am failing to install opera mini, or any other application, on the device through WIFI. Every time I try to download, it says “download failed”
2- If I download opera mini or any other application to my PC, and try to install it on my device using the Blackberry Desktop Application, it reflects that the application storage is full and I should remove some applications. It however fails to remove any application (i fail to press next) and, as I type this, the device is showing me that I have 256.6MB application free storage free space and 1.8GB media card storage free space but it still says application storage space full.

Are these permanent problems? Please help me resolve these.

Looking forward to your responses,
