Default Reply-to and from address

Hi,

Using Storm II (9520) with BB Enterprise Extra (BES + private email accounts).

Only for my private email accounts I would like to change From and Reply-To address.

I have tried Softonic's BBreply, but that doesn't work on Storm II.

Trying to solve this issue for days now... hope anyone can help solve!!

Thanks,
Stef

Hi tsac... this does not solve the issue completely.....
Some more background.
I use one general email box e.g. [email address] which redirects immediately to the mail box of my provider e.g. [email address]. Using Thunderbird I collect mail from [email address]. By changing (using default possibilities) reply-to and from address, I change [email address] in [email address]. This allows me to change provider while keeping one email address "for ever".

When answering a test mail, I used the solution provided in KB10871. This results: a correct from address (stef@lastname.com), but still the reply-to address mentioned is [email address] (exactly the address I would like to hide.)

With BBReply app one was able to manipulate both from and reply-to address for a specific mailbox. The app was meant to solve the above issue exactly. It seems that this app has worked successfully in the past... it doesn't work however on current OS/Models.

Hope you can once more show you're a genius!!!

When you set up additional emails on the BB it sends and receives via the BIS service and from there back to the email account service. This requires you to have valid accounts in order to manipulate the reply. I have 4 email addresses set up on my Bb and two from different email services and often reply to one address using a different address. Keep in mind to reply to a different address from the BB it must be able to send using the email address provider. It does not work if the BIS service does not have the accounts listed. Log into your BIS service and make sure both exist.

Hope i have not confused this too much.

That might be the issue.... I have BB Enterprise Extra (BES + private email accounts) (see initial post). I am not aware that I have a BIS account. How can I check?
