Unhappy bluetooth problem with 8110 and 8830.

hi everyone,m new to this forum.i just bought two blackberry 8110 and 8830 verizon world edition and i am located in india.the problem with both the phones is their bluetooth.they are able to pair well,can send to the other device(not neccesary a blackberry).but unable to recieve,i cannot transfer images contacts all other necessary things,help me with this kind blackberrian's.

You must tell the BlackBerry to receive using bluetooth. Are you doing that? Pairing alone is not sufficient.

If I remember correctly, those older devices were voice only for Bluetooth if they were using OS 4.0 or 4.1.

I think there was an OS update (maybe 4.5?) that made it happen. You would need to search to to see if that is correct however.

And you cannot send and receive "contacts" through the Bluetooth.

thank you for ur replies....!!!m glad i found this forum,but i m really a noob in dis,i got a fake software cd and does not have any pc suite in it and i do not have any idea where to take the os update from and how do it..!!i ll try it but if u can send me any link to the upgrade ill be really thankfull.!!!

And please do not use text speak when posting. THeir are many members who do not speak English who could have a hard time reading your posts. And many of us native speakers can't read them either.

i just found out about my os its 4.2.2.196
and i dont have a pc suit to connect to my pc and upgrade the phone ,any links where i can find the pc suit and an upgrade??
