Guys,

I just bought a BB 9700 yesterday. Its my first BB and so far so good with just some or a few hitches. For the longest time, I have been a Palm user. Still using it now though.

When I got it, I didn't even wait and immediately updated it to OS6. I also managed to synch my contacts that came from my Palm via or saved through google/gmail contacts.

Here are some of my questions:

1. I can't seem to edit the contacts that came from google. I cannot add or edit. How do you do it?

2. When I receive a text message and it comes from a new number who is already a contact, how can one add said number to an existing contact?

3. I can't seem to get apps world to work properly for the first day. On the second day, I tried updating apps world which worked, albeit for awhile only. Now its not working again. I always get the error "apps world needs to close now . . . . xxx"

4. Using BBM chat, is there a way to delete a certain message without deleting the whole chat?

1. No idea. Never had a problem with that.
2. Copy and paste or use a third party application.
3. Be sure you are using the latest versions. Might have just been a server glitch.

1. Figured out how to do it already.

2. Any reco on that third-party software? I find the copy and paste thingy too cumbersome. As we know, in other phones, there is an option of adding the new number as a contact with an option of making a new one or adding it to an existing one.

3. Upgraded to OS6 via BB website and just downloaded latest app world but to no avail.
