Is there a way to add more memory to a Blackberry 8700c?

Probably a stupid question but this is the first blackberry I've ever owned and I cant find a slot for an SD card I find it hard to believe a phone designed like the blackberries wouldn't have memory expansion.

Nope. No SD card slot either. What you have is what you got.

The newer models have SD card slots, but only for music, ringtones and photos. the 8700 is a dinosaur in the smartphone/BB world.

Yeah I got it at a Flea market not a bad phone but not having any ringtones or anything pretty much sucks lol. thanks tho I appreciate the info :( I heard alot about the Blackberries but This one isn't all that impressive lol if my other phone hadn't been ruined by water I'd still be using it as it actually had more features and its a flip phone

Keep in mind the 8700 is several generations old, and BlackBerry has never been cutting edge to begin with. You may be very disappointed as you get to know that model if you were expecting current technology.
