Unhappy Adress book saved all sim contact numbers as (WORK)

Please Login to Remove!

Sorry for my language. I just bought 8320 and when I copied all numbers from sim card to adress book it saved all the numbers as work. for example "Jack 8921741912" is turned into "Jack (WORK) 8921741912". how can I solve this problem without editing all the contacts one by one? And handset speaker volume is not enough while calling even at max vol. is there any way to boost it?

First of all you need to be patient and not bump up your thread after only waiting a very short amount of time.

What you are seeing is not a "problem". This is how the OS is designed to work. You need to edit them one by one if you want them to be something other than "Work".

ok you are right. thx after all but isn't that an OS open, why it is editing contacts like that w/o any reason. I thought there would be a software that enables multiple editing, on windows at least.

This is the way it is, as Mama says. Same thing will happen if you create a contact from the phone log ... number will save to work number field. It isn't as useful as it could be, but that's the way it is. Best thing to do would be sync to something and move the numbers to appropriate fields externally and then resync.

Don't know about volume question. I would have to hear the volume myself.
