BBM not working on unlocked phone?

I have a Verizon 9630 Tour with a T-Mobile SIM, and everything is working smoothly except the BBM! I really need help, any suggestions? I have the data plan and everything, but it's just not working. (n)

Have you tried a battery pull?

Does email, facebook, etc. all work?
