If you have a backup from desktop manager do a restore. If not check the settings on BB protect. It should work for restoral.

I tried that but it did not work, what it is, is that after wiping my phone the blackberry protect did not work when i clicked on it said error so i downloaded a new one and when it asked if i want to overwrite the old one i said yes but i'm sure the old back is stored somewhere the new one only has the present info on the phone.

Go to http://protect.blackberry.com/.

Log in with your BlackBerry ID.

Click backup and restore on the left. Check if there is a successful backup and the date and time.

If the backup was made after you wiped the device, which is what you suspect happened, then it sounds like you are out of luck, unless you have another backup or sync somewhere else. From what you say, Protect is not presenting you with the option to restore data from any earlier backup date and time.

Blackberry Protect copies the info to the RIM site per the information on the site.
So there should be a copy there.

Also BB Protect will not backup a blackberry that is using a BES service. If your on one then that may be why your not getting any data back

BlackBerry® Protect provides a convenient way to wirelessly back up and restore BlackBerry device data as well as features to help you find
your device and help protect your device's data if your device is ever lost or stolen.
You can use BlackBerry Protect to back up contacts, calendars, memos, tasks, text messages, and browser bookmarks. You can set BlackBerry
Protect to back up your data regularly or only when certain types of network connections are available. You can also choose to back up your
data manually.
BlackBerry Protect can restore data to the same device (for example, when you want to recover data that you have deleted) or to a different
device (for example, when you need to replace a lost device with a new one).
If your device is lost, you can use the BlackBerry Protect web site to help you find your device by viewing its current location, making it ring, or
displaying a custom message on the device Home screen. If your device is stolen, you can also remotely lock your device, change your device
password, or delete all data from your device.
You can manage up to five BlackBerry devices from your BlackBerry Protect account. You cannot use BlackBerry Protect on a device that is
configured to work with the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, therefore there are no IT policies for BlackBerry Protect.
