Details?

Describe what is and what is not right with the trackpad.

Have you tried a hard reset...that is, a battery pull, with the power on, for at least 30 seconds?

Did you drop it hard?

Did you get it wet? Was it possibly carried in a sweaty pocket? Do you take it into the shower room with you where it would be exposed to high humidity?

Is it under warranty? Do you have insurance?

And.....

Did it used to work for some time and recently stopped? Did you just get it and it hasn't worked from the start? Did you buy it new, used, refurbished?
