Okay so i bought a new blackberry storm 2 on Ebay and it's unlocked however my browser app has gone missing i've tried registering service books and there was nothing, also i downloaded the facebook application and it says my service plan needs upgrading yet my blackberry messenger works :S i'm using my old SIM card as well, so i was on the phone to orange for nearly a hour explaining what was wrong and i told him the make and model and he couldn't find it, also at the end of the call he asked if i can still call and text i said yes and he said bye. I mean it was about the internet service not calls and texts. Do you think i should contact orange again or get a new sim card, because i really miss my facebook and browser
thanks.

Contact Orange again and make sure you have a full BlackBerry data plan, not a partial plan like "social networking". The data plan must be a full BlackBerry data plan in order for things like email and internet to work.

Because you bought it used, the previous owner might have used it on a corporate BES. If so, there may be an IT Policy that restricts what you can and cannot do with this BlackBerry. Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

I bet the OP is confusing a standard cell SMS with the BBM
