Apologies if this has been answered already - I used the search function but couldn't find any answers.

I have many labels in gmail. The problem is that I don't want e-mails under certain labels (e.g. newsletters) forwarding to my BB. Is there any way to do this or a work around to get the same result?

I love my BB and I love my gmail and I just wish that they would work together the way I want them to.

Depends on how you forward the gmails to your blackberry. It sounds more like a filter issue (using masks and filters/labels to determine the behavior of an e-mail. You can test search and choose to have certain senders' emails to remain in your inbox without forwarding.

You can add the gmail account to your blackberry device and set up a filter (under Settings>>Labels) to only allow the emails you want to receive on your handset to appear.

I set my Gmail up using Home -> Setup -> e-mail settings - where I just had to provide my e-mail account address and password.

The problem seems to be that for gmail to work on the BlackBerry, 'All Mail' must 'Show in IMAP' which seems to negate any setting I create to stop certain e-mails showing.
