Default Sim still disabled after unlocking

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
was wondering if anyone can help me.

I was given a BB 8120 as a temp phone from a friend and it was locked to Orange, i unlocked it and inserted my Vodaphone sim card but it wont let me call or do anything and is saying
Sim - Disabled
Network - Disabled
etc.

Did you call Vodaphone? Maybe the BB is defective. Try another SIM.
