I have a BB Curve 8520. There are two email icons on the welcome screen. What is the difference please?

Also what is the difference in the message received icons. They both seem to be for email one is a multi coloured square the other is just a folder symbol.

At the moment for instance I have 3 showing against the folder and 4 showing against the multi coloured square.

I appreciate that this is an indication of unread emails but what is the difference please?

Can't see it in the online manual and I have only had the phone for a couple of days.

Going by memory (which isn't always good), my guess is that multi-colored icon is representative of messages for either Gmail or eBay. Do you have Gmail routed to your phone, and/or do you have the eBay app installed?
