Hello, im pretty new to BB and all that stuff.
but i have recently started with BBM and adding a few friends and stuff. But it just keeps saying "pending (waiting for Authotization)"

I have tryed everything, i added with pin, my friend has added me, we were even next to each other and it dident work. i have searched on the net tried allmost everything.

So i dont know what to do anymore... BBM is realy important to me so please Help Anyone!!!!

Ah, yes sorry. Im pretty sure my blackberry has a Data Plan, cause i can browse on every website perfectly fine.

What about other data features?

Email? Facebook? Twitter? Google Map? Do those work?

Double check with your service provider that you have a specific BLACKBERRY Data Plan active for your device.

mhhm, i downloaded facebook app from App World but when i press the facebook app this message comes opp "You are currently on a service plan that does not supportthis application. if you want to use this application, please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan"

hehe, so now i understand that i need to "upgrade or a new" data plan. will this cost allot or?

and how do i do it, i call my carrier and ask for what?

Contact your carrier and tell them that you have the BlackBery 8520 and that you want to be able to use BlackBerry Messenger and all the other BlackBerry Data Features and ask them for the proper service plan or add on that supports those features.
