Hi all,

I'm having an issue with my blackberry. Whenever I receive email containing “Dato’” word, the Dato’ word will turn into some funny character. Please refer pic attached.
I have checked on Autotext function, but this still occur. Do you guys have any idea how to tackle this?

Whoever is sending the email with the slanted apostrophe is using a character set that doesn't appear to be recognized by your BlackBerry. Thus, the BlackBerry is substituting another character(s) to fill that space.

I have a feeling that if a simple straight (') apostrophe were used, you would not see that.

That's not the problem, I have try send test mail just using the ' symbol, normal keyboard but when I received it back it still replace with the weird char.
