I was trying to install google reader on a blackberry curve and it said my browser was too old and google is phasing out old browsers. I am using the one that came on the phone IE. Also, would this be why whenever i look at a page with video it says i need a newer version of Adobe Flash?

I downloaded Opera mini but is there a way to make it my main web browser when using Bereader? In the browser configurations it only shows two options IE and Hot something.

No browser for BlackBerrys will let you view Flash content. Flash is simply not supported on BlackBerrys at this time.

You can only designate the built-in browser or the HotSpot browser as your default choice. Third-party browsers like Opera Mini or Bolt have to be opened manually and cannot be set as your default browser.
