Default Facebook connecting with bb-calender - can't turn it off! (curve 8520)

Please Login to Remove!

I want to use my calender for my daily appointments, but facebook puts in the birthdays of my friends. I want to remove these, but they always come back...
I already tried removing them via the desktop manager, I disconnected the calender in my facebook-options, I removed the facebook CICAL in my servicebook and I deleted them one by one, but nothing really helps.
Does anyone know the real trick for removing them?

Sounds like they are in multiple places and when you sync they come back. You need to delete any reference to them in all locations.

Open up facebook on your BB and go to Options.

Where it says " Connect your Facebook account with : Blackberry Calendar application" , Uncheck this option and see if it helps.

I already unchecked this box, but that doesn't matter...
