Default UNLOCKED STORM9530 trouble ?

Please Login to Remove!

* purchased BB STORM9530 ' unlocked ' .
* inserted my old sim from an already active T-mobile account ;
* life was grand .
* All functionality of phone great !
* on day 1
---------------------------------------------------------------
* day # 2 .... attempt to make a call on my phone and i get a
Verizon message that says cannot place call ; having difficulty
recognizing phone & or its registration ??
---------------------------------------------------------------
suggestions ?

if i were you i would go to network setting an make sure it says GSM only not CDMA/gsm that might be the issue . i had that happen to me once when i first got a blackberry storm.

You say its a Verizon message so my assumption is you should have a Verizon Blackberry service including a BB data plan. It seems the message is telling you they do not recognize the phone as legitimately on their network. the phone does not seem to be unlocked
