Question blacberry curve keypad issue :S

Please Login to Remove!

my curve 8520 keypad is messing around, i cant use the 't' key as for some reason it goes from being extremely sensitive e.g. i lightly touch it and t comes up) or just completely un responsive, it alters, and whenever i do manage to hit the 't' key it stays pressed, so if i try to move my cursor it just scrolls through the 't' symbols.

and to go with that, i cant seem to hold down the 'alt' or 'shift' keys at the same time with another key. e.g. i have to press 'alt', let go, and then press the symbol i want, same thing for 'shift', whereas normally i can just type while holding down the alt key :S

can someone help please? there hasn't been any water damage either btw.

The keyboard is dirty and/or water damaged.

zippy100012, you need to be patient. We are all volunteers here.

Sounds like you either dropped it or got it wet and damaged the inner workings. Even placing it in a humid environment like a bathroom for any length of time can cause moisture problems.

Have you tried a battery pull to see if that does anything?
