Thumbs down Cannot successfully "Move" old email account

Please Login to Remove!

My Blackberry Torch died recently and I have migrated back to my old Blackberry 8320. I've also begun working at a new company and they new office cannot setup email on my "old" Blackberry because I have to "move" my email account from the old office which is still appearing on the blackberry. The problem is, the old company is no longer using the old email server and I don't remember what the password was to validate the move.

There has to be an easier way to remove the old email address from my Blackberry so I can setup the new email address. I could appreciate advice and guidance on this topic. It's VERY frustrating!!

Was the device on BES with your old company? If so, try removing the IT Policy.

Have you called AT&T yet? That should be your first call.

Was the 9800 using the same BIS account as the 8300?

If so, log into your BIS account and put in the IMEI and PIN for your new device. Once that is done, email should start flowing to the new BB. You should then be able to log into BIS again and delete the old email accounts and add the new ones.

If you don't remember the user name and/or password and it is YOUR phone, you should be able to call your carrier and have it reset for you.
