I just got a blackberry 8130 today. I have never had a blackberry before and this one DID NOT come with a user guide. I have been trying to put music on my phone since it didn't have any on it (not even a ringtone). I tried to bluetooth the music that is on my samsung freeform but I keep getting a message that "the device has no service". I ended up taking the media card out of my freeform and put it in my 8130. I have been trying to move a couple of music files from the card to the 8130. I have no idea how to get them to stay when I move the card back to my other phone. What am I doing wrong and how do I get my music to stay put?

The 8130 only has 64MB of internal memory and you don't wanna eat that up with media. The whole purpose of a media card *is* for music/video/pictures.

In short, leave the music on the media card.

It is in use in my other phone. This blackberry was a free government phone. BTW sarcasm is *not* needed.

If you are trying to send files TO a BlackBerry via Bluetooth, you must initiate the transfer FROM the BlackBerry RECEIVING the file.

But if the device is on a BES (not sure what "a free government phone" means exactly), then the IT Policy might block Bluetooth transfer.

You need to be sure however you are transferring the files that you are saving them on the Device Memory. But as noted, it's advisable NOT to save very many files onto the device.

You might also want to ratchet back the attitude when seeking assistance.
