Unhappy Machine washed blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

My daughter washed her blackberry curve in the pocket of her jeans. We left it in rice with the battery out and I have been able to re -load the os this morning only the keyboard is not working. Should I put it back in the rice? can I dry out the keyboard/replace

You can try drying it out for a again. It's worth a try. See the FAQ > Got Your BlackBerry Wet?. However, I would bet it's a goner. Who knows what was damaged beside the keyboard. Electronics are funny like that.

Hairdryer for 5minutes then stick it under the boiler or on top , for 2-3 days should be fixable considering i washed my samsung wave (touch) and it still worked after.. but not for long the screen touch went completely bonkers. which i'd gather the touch mouse would do on a bb :( x
