Hi all. I am having an issue with my BB Curve 8520 where it does not connect to BIS over Wifi by its self. I always have to disconnect the mobile network and then wait for wifi to then connect and then turn the mobile network back on. I look in wifi diagnostics and I can see it trying to connect to BIS via wifi with the Mobile network on, but it keeps saying error. I have resent registration, service books, did a battery pull while phone was on. All of that and still no luck.

Any ideas.

Normally when you set up a WIFI connection using the proper SSID and security coed for a secure system it becomes automatic. If your having issues with connecting to a specific site I would check to see if you have any firewall settings blocking the port, IP or URL used. If all connections are refused check the security codes. RIM does not have any indication of this issue.
