Smile 8700 help - it policy removal?

Please Login to Remove!

Hiya. I realise theres probably thread like this but theres so many on here I don;t have time to go through everything!!!
I have a blackberry 8700(g?) which I am assuming needs the IT policy removed. It won;t make calls or text but all other features are fine. Vodafone (current network) have checked its not blacklisted. There definitely is an IT Policy showing but I need help removing it! I bought this off ebay as 'sold as seen' very cheaply but really want to get it working as I love blackberries but can't afford a newer one (my 9300 was nicked and my insurance company were scammers).
ANYWAY.
Any guidance in removing this would be great, i've seen directions on other forums but they seem to only be good for versions 4.6 upwards and mine is running 4.1.
Thanks in advance!

Read this:
Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

For future reference, there are literally hundreds of threads on your same topic (which a simple search, see the RED search link above?, would have generated many previous answered threads), and a dedicated FAQ site (see the top menu bar of this forum) with lots of information, including your issue.
