Really, really hoping someone can help me with this problem.
I have 2 email accounts set up on my BB9800, both running through BIS. One of the accounts (my work account, using Outlook Web Access through BIS) stopped delivering emails to my device about a week or so ago - a few days before the outage. My other (webmail) account is fine.
Symptoms for the work account are:
It is successfully set up on BB. Password and mail settings are correct.
I can send work emails from BB, and sent items are appearing in Outlook.
But Iím not receiving any work emails to my BB.
Outlook Web Access is working fine.
Unsuccessful solutions I have tried so far:
Delete and resend service books. Get successful activation message each time but no further emails.
Reregister device with network - again, successfully done but no emails.
Security wipe and restore. No joy.
Numerous battery pulls, sometimes in conjunction with the above steps.
Snooping through the forums has led me to believe that the problem could be related to my work IT guys upgrading Exchange service pack, or changing security certificate or something, but they assure me they haven't done that. And they won't help me any further as it's not a work supported phone. Great.
So I'm hoping someone has some helpful further suggestions!
