Blackberry 9800 running v 6.0.0.600 will show attachments of any sort *except* pdf when the email is in html format. If I select "get plain text" the email attachment is there, and I can download and view it, but it appears as a message without attachment in html form. Other users have noted this problem, and someone's post helped me work around the problem with "get plain text" (thank you!), but how do you get this information back to RIM so they can fix it? I was on the tech line with Bell for 15 minutes this morning and the guy didn't know what to do. He gave me a 1-877 number to report to RIM - and the number was out of service.

The way the .pdf file was created makes all the difference. Some encoders create a file that the Messages app cannot display. Documents To Go Premium will let you view the attachment, save it, and even edit it.
