Do you have a 9300 or a 9700? I am confused.

You need to go to the main menu, hit the BlackBerry symbol key and choose you show all applications. From there you can unhide the phone.

You do not close applications in the background. The device automatically closes applications when required. However, if you wish for an application to not run in the background, press the BlackBerry symbol key and choose to close the application instead of hitting the back or end keys to get to the home screen.

You will receive picture messages if you have a BlackBerry data plan. If you do not have a BlackBerry-specific data plan, you will not receive picture messages.
