The last few days my blackberry has been acting really weird (weirder than usual that is).

Last night, after it was fully charged, I was in the middle of typing an SMS when my keyboard light started to flicker on and off repeatedly, and really quickly. After that, my screen started to sort of dissolve away line by line, until it was white... Then it rebooted itself. Once it loads back up, I get the "Battery too low for radio use." Once I dismiss that, it pops up "Battery critically low, powering down."

The stats page says that I have 3% (It's ALWAYS 3%) remaining after it boots up.

I don't have any water damage —xthe stickers are completely white, and as I've read this is normal.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I have the second generation Curve (not the 3g one)

Sometimes when a battery gets too low it's difficult to get it to charge again. You might try connecting to a wall charger and while it's connected, pull the battery. When you re-insert the battery leave it overnight to charge.

BlackBerry batteries can get damaged by being discharged completely. Below 20% is bad.

I'll have to try that... If it starts back up this time. Now, I can't even get pass the hour glass icon - it's not even making it to the blackberry page.

Try a new OEM battery. Not a cheap eBay knock off.
