Default 9300 Curve annoying battey issue!

Please Login to Remove!

OK, had my phone about 6 months now and 2 weeks or so ago the back got very slightly wet (drink was spilled on side and it got to phone for like 10 secs, it wasnt much at all a few drips) phone worked fine but when it went off for the night (I set up on and off times automatically) it wouldnt come back on in the morning I just had the red flashing light! after 2 days of putting in rice, airing cupboard etc I managed to hook upto computer and reinstall the OS.

The phone now works fine apart from the battery indicator it only says full! sometimes it will go to red and then I only have to scroll on the pad and it will go back to 100% again!! while im happy the phone is working I have absolutely no idea how much battery I ever have

Has anyone else had this problem? or heard of it any help much appreciated!!!

Water damage is the problem. Device wasn't properly dried. Even a very small amount can cause major problems. My guess is that it will continue to degrade over time.

Yu could try a new battery or a new theme, but my guess is that it won't help.
